Front Office Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

  • Seeking a top notch, experienced, medical FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for an upscale, concierge OBYGYN practice with one of the best doctors in BEVERLY HILLS.
  • Responsibilities include answering phones and scheduling appointments, working with Word documents including miscellaneous letters to patients, balance due and more. Additional duties include emailing and replying to patients and faxing and attaching these to the patient’s charts. Work together as a team member helping each other as needed, with a willingness to help the doctor with an occasional personal request such as calling Apple regarding her cell phone.
  • OBGYN experience, and experience working with VIP patients, as well as EMR experience are a plus but not required.
  • Also coordinate lunches including a working lunch for the staff which is paid for by the doctor on Mondays.
  • Must be a personable, positive, upbeat, caring, and self-motivated candidate who is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • No insurance verification experience is necessary – Office is cash only.
  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 to 5:00, Wednesday 8:00 to closing (after patients leave), which is usually 6:30, occasionally 7:30 or rarely 8:00. Office is closed from 12:00 – 2:00 which includes a half hour lunch and often an hour with the second half hour paid.
  • Compensation: $25 – $26 an hour – Medical insurance, pension plan, and paid parking, with one week vacation after the first year and two weeks of vacation after two years
