Seeking a professional and detail oriented MEDICAL INSURANCE BILLER and for an INTERNAL MEDICINE and PULMONARY multi – doctor private office in LOS ANGELES to work with other billers. Must have a minimum of three years of billing experience including solid experience with Medicare, Medi-Medi and strong experience with HMO’s, including billing and collecting. Duties include insurance verification, charge entry, prepping checks for deposit, payment posting, working with insurance portals, A/R, claims follow up and sending claims to secondary payors. Must be reliable, resourceful and have strong computer skills, excellent verbal, written and typing skills, along with the ability and motivation to take initiative and follow through with completing tasks in a fast pace environment. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required. Also must be caring with the ability to work well as a team member and independently. Monday – Friday with your choice of 8 1/2 hour days with a half hour lunch, between 8:00 and 6:00.
Compensation: $25.00 an hour. Benefits include medical and dental health insurance, 401K, profit sharing, and 3 weeks vacation after the first year.
